Meet Jon Howard
Meet Jon Howard, Head Coach and Owner here at Relentless Courage.
With professional coaching at Relentless Courage we help people set and reach their goals through a client-centered, outcome based approach. It took nearly three years and two failed attempts to complete the Superior 100 Mile Endurance Run in 2014. Much of the programming included here was developed during that time all while working as a fitness and wellness coach. Jon has worked at LifeTime Fitness, Orangetheory Fitness and had his own Wellness Coaching business for a few years. Relentless Courage was officially born as an LLC in 2022. Jon is currently enrolled in the Precision Nutrition Level 2 Master Coach Certification Program (change psychology) which will finish up in March 2023. You'll work together with your coach to create and practice healthy habits across every aspect of your life, from sleep and stress-management to movement and mindfulness. These new habits will help you feel more calm, confident, and prepared for each day—no matter what life throws at you.
Professional coaching and detailed progress checking
You'll meet with your coach for 30 minutes up to four times a month over Google Meet. Once a month you'll be asked to take some measurements that you decide on with your coach. These metrics will drive your programming ensuring the decisions you're making with your coach are truly outcome based.

- 4 - 30 minute coaching sessions per month via Google Meet
- Communication with your coach will happen via email and text - coach will respond within 36 hours
- Agreed upon action between check - ins
- Coach assigned resources specific to your goals and needs
- Your workout program and meal planning is a collaborative effort - we'll create these together if you want
- Coaches spend additional time outside of "live coaching time" preparing for and debriefing client sessions and programs.

As coaches, our job is to hear what our clients have to say and help them move in a way that gets them closer to their goals, period.
Client-Centered Coaching
Our coaches don’t make decisions for our clients or tell them what to do. We help our clients make decisions for themselves and grow in ways that they choose. We do provide guidance and support along the way. That is client-centered coaching.

The GSPA Model
GSPA stands for goals, skills, practices and actions. It’s the way we start with something big and break it down into smaller parts. Those smaller actions add up over time to help you reach your goals.
Outcome vs Behavior Goals
Outcome goals are the big things we think about. Our coaches have worked with clients who wanted to lose weight, have more energy, be more organized, reset their priorities, get ready for that big event, be better leaders, get healthier and take back control of their life. We’ll work to create SMART outcome goals through conversation and assessments. Then, we’ll dial in our GSPA process to create behavior goals that add up to big things.

It all starts with a FREE 60 minute coaching session to review your intake, see if coaching with Relentless Courage is a good fit and get answers to any questions you have. Once you enter your email here, you'll schedule your session and we'll send over your initial intake form through our state of the art app, whether you choose to sign up for the program or not.
30 Minute Coaching Sessions
If you aren't quite ready to commit to ongoing personal coaching you can still work with us! You can schedule your session below. Sessions are 30 minutes and include a thoughtful follow up email with additional resources and action. We can talk about much more than nutrition and our sessions are always 100% confidential. Cost is $69.50 per session and payment is required at the time of booking.
