I'm Taking on 10 New Clients!
We are all blessed with gifts. I have recently gotten clearer on exactly what I’m supposed to be doing. I’m a coach. I've already written about that. I am a certified Trainer and Nutrition Coach. I've been coaching for over 15 years.
One thing I rarely do is take on new clients. In the past two years I have taken on two new clients. They are still with me today. That being said the fact that I’m looking to take on 10 new clients is a big deal for me.
Here’s how this process will work:
What you get – Keep in mind that everything listed is a starting point. This process is a commitment. I’m committing to your implementation. Your implementation and trust in the process is ultimately what will get you the results you’re looking for. There’s a Grocery List, Meal Planner, Exercise APP Access and a Master Scheduling Template. This next thing is where the value lies. I tell people all the time and I firmly believe it to be true. Knowledge without implementation is a waste. We are in a world full of knowledge. The value lies in the coaching. That’s why I’m including weekly phone calls to coach you in real time towards your goals. The process will start with an email from me with a form for you to fill out prior to our first meeting. In that first meeting we’ll get clear on what you want to achieve, why you want to achieve it, the date you’ll accomplish it by and we’ll agree on two action items that will be most impactful specific to your goals. Then, it will be your job to execute on those actions until the next time we speak. I’ll ask you some questions about how it went then we’ll move from how it went to how it’s going to go. That will repeat for four phone calls. Once those calls are up, you’ll have the opportunity to continue on with the coaching or opt out and go it on your own.
I try to teach principles that last long after I’m out of the equation. I’m here to serve you. I’m here to meet you where you are and help you to a better place. Growth is a keystone habit. I operate on four pillars of Health and Success. They are Stress Management, Sleep Habits, Food Choices and Exercise. Vasaloppet Week - Event 1 of 4
Well, it's time for event #1 in my winter ski series. With little snow and a move to coordinate, I'll be heading into this first one looking to get some time on my skis.
There have been many things calling for my attention in the past few weeks. The longest I've gone has been 14 miles. The thing that most concerns me would be my ability to fuel during this 58k event. Depending on conditions it will likely take four hours or so. I will draw on my experience.
We have sold our house and close in just a matter of weeks. Needless to say there is a lot going on right now in my world. Which makes the timing of this ski series even that much more perfect. I can feel my blood pressure going down just thinking about my day on the trail. There will be nothing on my mind in those moments except for what will contribute to me getting to the end of the 58k Vasaloppet.
I think that's part of the reason why I like ultra - adventure. I'm challenged to the point where I need to think of nothing but the task at hand. There is no room for clutter. The other part is the community. I get emotional writing to you now thinking about being surrounded by the ultra - community. It's difficult to describe the energy around an event unless you've experienced it for yourself.
So, as I work through this week in the moment, I look forward to the opportunity that lies ahead on Saturday. I'll spend a good part of the day gliding one foot in front of the other as I begin this four event ski series.
One thought I've had while training lately is I've been thinking about what you are training for in your life. Are you training for an athletic event, your job, being a parent or maybe all of the above like me? What's most important to you? Are you living in the moment or do you find yourself thinking about what's next? I don't know the answer to any of those questions but I would challenge you to declare your priorities and act accordingly.
