Superior Spring '16

Do you ever commit to something, then when it comes time to execute you feel a bit unprepared?  

Don't get me wrong I'm pumped!  Superior 50k is one of my favorite events and is the event that hooked me on ultras.  As I hobbled to my first finish a gentleman remarked "walk it in... this won't be your last."  He was right.  Here I am going for my 17th finish on foot or skis and my 12th ultra on foot.

The weather looks great and I'll be relying on training from year's past to make it through this rugged out and back.

I may not be as physically ready as I've been but there's still time to get my mind right.

No matter what it is that we do in life when the gun goes off, if we give it everything we have, anything is possible.

Will I run a PR?  Probably not.  Could I?  Absolutely!

This year will start slow and build as the event goes on.  The hustle will be in full effect and I'm sure the experience will be one to remember.

I used to run for the t shirt.  Now I run for the people and all Rocksteady events bring together some of the best people in the world.
